A friend designs and builds furniture. These pictures are of a bed and nightstands that he made of alder. He then helped me make the same bed in queen size, which we will use upstairs in Gavyn's new room. Even from the internet the bed alone would have cost around $4500, but he does it for a fraction of that price. Wish I lived close enough to get some furniture like that. It's gorgous. Is Gavyn's new room going to be upstairs in the office area? Miss you guys.
This is truly heirloom quality craftsmanship. The trim in the bedroom is gorgeous too. Is the bed you made to the stage where you can post photos? Maybe you can share your work in stages of construction.
